Optimal flavor experience

You can experience lunch or dinner in an informal setting. Our cosy restaurant is located in the city centre of Hanseatic city Elburg. Our cooks use daily fresh –often recognisable– products. The origin of our style is the traditional French cuisine. High seasoned with ingredients and flavours from all corners of the world. We try to achieve the optimal flavor experience.

Cooking is an art

The basis of our restaurant is a French cuisine with influences from around the world. We work with seasonal products which means the menu changes every season. We also always offer our surprise menu, the "Menu de Chef", which changes every two or three weeks. Cooking is an art and you can taste that in our dishes. Our gravy is freshly made, cured products are prepared, preserved in goose fat, and tartar or ceviche are made à la minute.

Smoking of food products is done with required effort in our own smoking barrel. Like our salmon for example. This is first cured in whiskey for a night. The smoking process takes hours, during which our chefs regularly need to stoke the smoking barrel to ensure optimal smoke flavor.
